My ‘Yesterday’
I started playing guitar at the age of 15 and never looked back. From busking on the street to function bands by the age of 17, I realised that I could earn money doing what I loved.
I’ve since toured the world as a performer; played on iconic stages such as the O2 and Royal Albert Hall; and have mixed and produced music heard by millions of people worldwide.
In 2003 I complimented my performing / session work with teaching, and have since mentored hundreds of students through their guitar; bass; and music production grade exams with a 100% success rate in my professional home teaching studio in West Sussex.
Many students have gone on to study beyond grade 8 to achieve distinctions in their teaching diplomas, with my continued support.
Many have also gone on to become instrumental music teachers themselves.
In 2015 I extensively adapted my home teaching studio to facilitate the increasing demand for mixing and music production support.
I have since been working closely with RSL and other boards to support innovations in music production syllabus creation and facilitation throughout the UK

As I write this in 2023 I am privileged to be:
Working in collaboration with some of the best mixers & producers in the UK
Collaborating with some of the best songwriter & composers in the UK
Assistant Head of West Sussex Music - the charitable trust and Hub responsible for the delivery of high quality instrumental music to children and young people throughout West Sussex
Performing on a regular basis in theatres and venues across the UK
